The service

Selbri Mixing measures the tracks of your Ableton Live set, answers questions about your mix and proposes changes, which it can make with Live’s own devices when you ask. It needs Ableton Live 12.2 or later with Max for Live, and an internet connection: the answers are worked out on our servers.

Selbri Mixing is in early access. Features change, and some may be added, reworked or removed. Selbri is independent from Ableton, which doesn’t endorse or support it.

Your account

You sign in with an email address. Keep your login and your connected computers safe: what happens under your account is your responsibility. An account is for one person; don’t share it. You must be at least 16 to use Selbri.

Plans and the trial

Selbri Mixing has a Free plan and paid plans (Pro, and Studio once it opens), as described in the pricing section of selbri.ai. Each plan sets how many questions you can ask a month, on how many computers, and which features you get.

Every new account starts with a 14-day Pro trial: Pro’s features with the Free plan’s questions. It needs no card and ends by itself; the account then moves to Free.

Paid plans renew every month or every year until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added where the law requires them. If a price changes, we’ll tell you before your next renewal, and the new price applies only from then. Billing isn’t open yet: until it is, nothing is charged.

Questions and fair use

A question is one answer Selbri Mixing works out for you. Telling it your genre, being asked to press play, or getting a clarifying question back doesn’t count. Questions reset on the first day of each month (UTC) and unused ones don’t carry over.

To keep the service working for everyone, we also limit how fast questions can be sent, and we may slow down, limit or suspend an account that automates requests, resells the service or puts unusual load on it. If that happens, we’ll tell you why when we can.

Your music stays yours

You keep every right to your music, your Live sets and everything you make with Selbri Mixing. We claim none of it. You let us process what the device sends and what you upload only to run the service for you.

Only upload reference tracks you have the right to use. Their audio is deleted as soon as it’s measured.

You decide

Selbri Mixing proposes changes and explains them. It only changes your set when you ask it to: applying a suggestion, building a tool, balancing faders or running the Conductor. You can hear each change, keep it or undo it.

Save your sets and keep backups. Live and Max for Live can crash, and we can’t recover a set for you.

No warranty on results

Mixing is a matter of taste, and Selbri Mixing’s answers are written with AI language models: they can be wrong. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don’t promise any particular result for your music, or that the service will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn’t let us limit.

Things you can’t do

• Break, overload or get around the limits and security of the service.
• Copy, resell or rent the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows.
• Use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

Ending

You can stop using Selbri at any time and delete your account from your account page at app.selbri.ai. Deleting it cancels a paid plan first, so you’re never charged again.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why when we can. If we ever shut Selbri Mixing down, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before and refund the unused part of any paid period.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the dashboard before the change applies. Using Selbri after that means you accept the new terms.
